What is Haika?
HAIKA started with a simple idea: a sketch doesn't need to be perfect to mean something.
Inspired by Japanese art and traditional ink work, we wanted to build a collection that keeps the raw feeling of the first drawing, including the rough lines, small imperfections and details that usually disappear in the final piece.
That became the foundation of HAIKA.
Every character starts from the same place: a sketch. From there, each one develops its own look, personality and story.
Some lines stay rough.
Some marks become scars.
Some details are easy to miss.
That's the point.
We didn't want HAIKA to feel polished just for the sake of being polished. We wanted it to feel like something drawn by hand, where the imperfections are part of what gives each piece its identity.
From the first line to the final character.
